Who We Are

PeoplesTrust Bank opened for business on July 23, 2004 with offices in Hamilton and Hackleburg, Alabama. As the first newly chartered commercial bank in Marion County in more than 25 years, PeoplesTrust Bank was organized as a locally owned and locally focused alternative to the multi-state mega-banks. Local decision making has enabled The Bank to be more responsive to our customers. In November 2008, PeoplesTrust continued the mission to meet the banking needs of Northwest Alabama by opening a full-service branch in Florence, Alabama.

Our goal is simple: to provide superior service to our customers by building long-term personal relationships with our staff, officers, and directors. We will strive daily to exemplify and improve upon old fashioned values.
