PeoplesTrust Bank opened for business on July 23, 2004 with offices in Hamilton and Hackleburg, Alabama. As the first newly chartered commercial bank in Marion County in more than 25 years, PeoplesTrust Bank was organized as a locally owned and locally focused alternative to the multi-state and multi-county mega-banks.
